Payment and security

Paying, safely

How payment works, which methods we accept, and how we keep it secure.

Last updated: 3 November 2026.

Paying for a handmade order should feel as smooth and safe as the rest of the experience. Here’s how we handle payments at RollinToHome.

Accepted payment methods

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major cards
  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal

We do not store your card details on our servers, they go directly to Stripe, which is fully encrypted and tokenised.

When are you charged?

Your payment is charged in full at the time you place your order. This lets us source the fabrics and start production immediately. Because each piece is handmade to order, we don’t offer pay-on-delivery.

Currency & pricing

All prices on the site are shown in euros (€). If you pay with a card in a different currency, your bank or card provider will convert at their published rate, we have no control over the exchange rate or any conversion fees they charge.

Security & fraud protection

Every transaction is protected by:

  • SSL encryption across our entire site (the padlock in your browser bar)
  • 3D Secure authentication for cards that support it (Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check)
  • Stripe Radar, Stripe’s fraud detection that screens every transaction

What we never do: We never ask for your card details by email, WhatsApp, or phone. If anyone claiming to be from RollinToHome asks for your payment information outside our checkout page, please report it to us immediately.

Failed or declined payments

If your payment is declined at checkout, it’s almost always your bank, not us, declining the transaction. Common reasons:

  • Your card doesn’t have enough funds
  • Your bank flagged the international transaction as suspicious (this is common, call your bank to authorise)
  • The card details (number, expiry, CVV, billing address) don’t match exactly
  • Your card doesn’t support online or international purchases

Try a different card, or contact your bank to authorise the transaction. If you keep having trouble, message us, we can sometimes send a manual payment link.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. See our Returns Policy for full details on when refunds apply and how long they take to appear in your account.

Receipts & invoices

You’ll receive an email receipt automatically when your order is placed. If you need a formal invoice (with VAT details or your company name), reply to that email or contact us and we’ll send one within 24 hours.
